The Lake is the most minimal of the Carta Collection designs. Constructed of the finest Italian leather, it is crafted from scratch by M Tallowin to the highest level of craftsmanship. A single sleeve snuggly accommodates up to five cards. The cut-away - which gives the Lake it's name - allowing convenient access. 

Every part of the work is done by hand; from the marking out, cutting, edge-bevelling to the hand burnishing. The 142 stitch-holes are hand cut, one by one. The lake is hand stitched in it’s entirety using beeswaxed french linen thread - 70 saddle stitches in total finished with 4 double whip stitches. Upon completion the Lake is pressed to form, oiled and waxed and set in the unique presentation case.
